The following should be done daily:

Clean the area with a solution of half hydrogen peroxide
and half water.

Apply POLYSPORIN ointment to the area. (This is
non-prescription medication available at your local pharmacy
or drug store.)

Keep the area covered with a dressing or Band-Aid.

KEEP THE SUTURES DRY - Avoid getting water directly on the
sutures.
